The Admittedly website was in it’s infancy stages when I joined the team. My first undertaking was to create a design audit, suggesting how the UX and UI could be more inline with the Admittedly brand. I wanted Admittedly to be colorful, but not over the top, friendly but not juvenile, and sophisticated but not complicated. Within a few iterations I simplified navigation, gave more weight to school images, and designed a new dashboard that helped users get the most out of the site.
